Alumni Quotes About the MPS Program:
"Cornell's MPS in Applied Statistics gave me the skills I needed to step immediately into a high-level professional position. I received concentrated instruction in the core theory and application of statistics; in addition, all applied courses included a heavy dose of statistical programming, which was absolutely vital when it came time to hunt for a job. I was able to personalize my skill set by choosing from Cornell's overwhelming variety of electives in fields such as business, social statistics, biostatistics, industrial statistics, data mining, and IT." Josh Poduska '05, Intel Corp.
"The MPS's solid education in statistics provides analytical skills that are sought-after in any field, and it has been a key differentiator in my consulting skill set. I would highly recommend the program to prospective statisticians as well as non-statisticians." Iorav Marz '02, IBM Consulting
